A Limited Slip Differential is key to drift control. Without having LSD, life in the Drifting world is difficult. A LSD drives both rear wheels, so when in a drift the rear end of the car can keep a steady push throughout the corner. A car without LSD will have trouble holding a drift, because one wheel is powering the rear of the car and so ends up dragging the other wheel through the slide scrubbing off speed.
